Planet Bollywood is a classy Indian restaurant located in Bangkok’s Sathorn Road area. The restaurant is themed, but it is very tastefully designed, with posters of Bollywood stars thoughtfully positioned to fit in with the restaurants modern ambience. The Indian food was very good with a great range of traditional Indian dishes on offer including a full spread of curries, naans and some great deserts. The wine list was well presented and included a carefully selected range of fine wines. For the price, planet Bollywood excelled and is certainly a good choice of venue for a high quality Indian meal.
Planet Bollywood is conveniently located within the premises of the India Thai Chamber of Commerce. The restaurant is arranged like a lounge with a big screen TV playing Indian movie videos and a large sofa. There is a bar and many dinner tables too.
